Biggest Riser, Biggest Faller, and Why?
Andrew
Biggest riser: WR Jonathan Mingo
Some people are puzzled as to why Mingo has seen his draft stock rise up so much as we approach the NFL Draft after being an afterthought early in the process. I think it’s partially due to the fact that Mingo offers rare size in this otherwise tiny WR class. I also think people have had time to really watch Mingo’s film, which is more impressive than his 2022 college stats might indicate.
Biggest faller: RB Sean Tucker
I love Tucker more than most. I think his skill-set is perfectly suited for NFL teams who run outside zone, and I love that he proved himself as a pass-catcher in college without doing so in a 180-pound package. Tucker, unfortunately, has seen the biggest drop for me based on rumors that doctors have found a heart condition in Tucker. It’s hard to say what his NFL future is, if any, but that risk is enough to move him down in my ranks.
Sam
Biggest Riser: WR Jonathan Mingo
Mingo has size in a class full of small receivers. He operates as a big slot, which is growing in popularity in the NFL. He has the benefit of pedigree coming out of Ole Miss, a school that has produced AJ Brown and DK Metcalf recently.
Biggest Faller: RB Sean Tucker
This has nothing to do with Tucker’s game. Unfortunately speculation of a heart condition could torpedo his draft stock. The risk is the only reason he has fallen for me. I love Tucker’s ability and size. His collegiate production was stellar. I hope that this is just a blip in a storied career for him.
Ben
Biggest riser(s): RB Chase Brown and TE Luke Schoonmaker
Both thanks to unexpectedly great athletic performances. Brown’s athleticism was completely unexpected and caught me (and I think a lot of people) by surprise. He likely made money at the combine.
Biggest faller: RB Sean Tucker
It sucks because this is really all about health, not talent. Tucker has the athletic profile to have crushed the combine/pro day, but a medical issue (potentially heart…) has held him back, leaving his status unclear. This has the potential to be incredibly unfortunate for a great talent.

Your typical know-nothing wannabe who never played American football growing up, Andrew grew up playing the REAL football, dreaming of being the next Ronaldo (the Brazilian one).
One fateful day in 1998, Andrew was introduced to one, Randy Moss, who would almost singlehandedly vault American football to the forefront of a young twelve-year-old’s flimsy attention span.
Twenty-some years later, Andrew, now a father, coach and rabid Tottenham supporter, still loves both footballs.
A fantasy football degenerate with an extreme love for the game. The only position Sam has ever played in any form of competitive football is armchair quarterback.
An affinity for football and watching games together was a part of growing up for him and his three brothers. 30 plus years as a Vikings fan has made him a glutton for punishment and a believer that he can do something his hometown team can’t, put together a championship roster.
Now 22 years into his fantasy football general manager career he is here to offer insight, advice, and the same hope for championships that he desperately clutches to for his Purple People Eaters.
That guy who wraps up the #1 seed by week 13, dominates the points scored column, and gets blown out by the #8 seed in the first round of playoffs…annually. That’s Ben.
He’s also the guy who constructs a trade calculator for fun, and builds a fantasy football website when he wants to share his thoughts with the world.
As a Vikings fan and a poor golfer, Ben lives in a perpetual state of frustration. In his fun-time he’s a husband and proud father of two.
